Glovo Last Mile (e-logistic) is a new actor on the last mile delivery sector. Through technology and 24/7 operations, Glovo delivers parcels from E-commerce to their end customer nationwide within hours.

During my time in Glovo I have been in charge of developing the operations from the 2 cities we were operating to a nationwide coverage.


Operations
- Managing the overall operations of Glovo Last Mile delivery for north of Spain regions
- Trouble shooting and incidence solving
- Reporting and KPI analysis: CPP, PPH, DR, Efficiency, OTD, …

Management
- Recruiting and training of a 10-25 people team according to seasonality
- Internal promotion of team members
- Periodic meetings and trainings for continuous improvements

Processes & Improvements
- Establish and challenge processes for continuous improvements of WH KPIs.
- Metrics, tests, layouts, materials and tools.
- Close work with Data analytics, Software designers and higher management to design and execute strong and reliable processes

Expansion:
- Opening of regional WHs, training and process improvement
- Design and execute national expansion plan (WH, PUDOs, MWH, …)
- Operative support and people training for international expansion.

Partners
- Synergies with Glovo others BU: Find, Recruit and train PUDOs for our operations in mid-size cities
- Manage PUDOs, set SLAs and monitor performance through specific KPIs

Transportation and Line Haul
- Design of the linehaul network (Research of suppliers, optimization of routes)
- Follow up on daily operations
- Continuous improvement of Transportations KPIs (OTD, CPP)

Other responsibilities and side projects
- First approach to reverse Logistic
- Design and development of specific WH equipment
- Investigation on new dispatching solutions

I was in charge of the main store located in Barcelona, managing a team of 10 people with
